Download Vitruvius

Version 0.1.0-alpha.0, released 20 October 2026. Open the app and choose Log in; it finishes signing in through this website.

Vitruvius runs on macOS and Windows. Choose your installer below.

macOS, Apple silicon (M1 and later) Vitruvius-mac-arm64.dmg
macOS, Intel Vitruvius-mac-x64.dmg
Windows, Windows 10 and 11, 64-bit Vitruvius-win-x64.exe

Installing the alpha

Alpha builds are not yet signed by Apple or Microsoft, so both systems ask you to confirm the first time. This is expected and only happens once.

macOS

Open the DMG and drag Vitruvius to Applications.
On first launch macOS blocks the app. Open System Settings, then Privacy & Security, scroll to “Vitruvius was blocked”, click Open Anyway and confirm.
If macOS says the app “is damaged”, run this in Terminal:

xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine /Applications/Vitruvius.app
```

Windows

Run the installer.
If SmartScreen shows “Windows protected your PC”, click More info, then Run anyway.
