Who is Vitruvius for?

Architects, interior architects and interior designers in small practices, starting with residential work in the UK and France: extensions, refurbishments, loft conversions, small new builds.

Do I have to use the agent?

No. Manual drafting is a first-class way to use Vitruvius. Hide the agent panel with Ctrl+J (Cmd+J on a Mac) and the canvas takes the full window.

Will the agent change my drawing without asking?

Not in Plan or Ask mode: every change waits for you. In Auto mode it applies changes itself but saves a checkpoint after each step, so you can rewind. In every mode, large deletions need your acceptance.

Is my work used to train AI models?

No. Your projects, files and conversations are never used to train models. See the AI use policy.

Does it work offline?

You can open cached projects and keep drawing; changes sync when you reconnect. The agent and file uploads need a connection.

Can I open my existing DWG files?

Yes, through cloud conversion. Read file formats for what survives the round trip.

What happens when I reach my usage limit?

New agent requests wait until the window resets, and the app tells you when. Drawing by hand is never blocked, and you are never billed beyond your plan.

Is there a free plan?

No. Alpha testers get Pro for 30 days with an invite code. See pricing.

Why does my Mac say the app is damaged?

Alpha builds are not signed by Apple yet. The download page has the one-line fix.

How do I delete my account or export my data?

Both are on your account page. Deletion takes effect after 30 days, so you can change your mind.
